IBPS Clerk 2025 Exam Pattern and selection process
In IBPS clerk recruitment, the candidates are selected on the basis of performance in exams. There are two exams prelims and mains. In the recruitment of clerk, first prelims exam is conducted. From this, candidates qualified the prelims exam is approximately ten times of the numbers of posts. The marks obtained in prelims examination are not considered in the final selection. The final selection is based on the only marks obtained by a candidate in the mains examination. Language Proficiency Test might be conducted by an individual bank if needed. LPT is a measure to check the required knowledge of language for that state.
IBPS clerk prelims exam pattern 2025
It is an online exam of objective type. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. The test of three sections Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and English Language will be done in prelims exam. Complete details about the exam are given below in the table.

Candidates who successfully passed the prelims exam will go for the main exam. In this, 160 minutes is given to the candidates for attempting 190 questions.
